I had so much fun taking part in West Liberty’s 5th Annual Plein Air Contest! There was a great turnout with many skilled artists. I’ve never really tried plein air style painting before. It was challenging, but definitely a worthwhile experience. I believe it’s always important to be trying out new styles and techniques. I was able to learn a lot in the process and from the judges as well.
I was honored to win the First-Timer award with this painting! It and the other plein air competition paintings will be displayed in the Brick Street Art Gallery in West Liberty. Pay it a visit if you can!
